This Subaru Impreza WRX STI came to the Radix garage burning a lot of oil and in need of a lot of work. A common issue with the EJ25 engines, when not modified correctly, they can suffer from broken ring lands that allow oil into the combustion chamber.

Over the space of 4 weeks, we completed a full engine rebuild and restoration. From top to bottom, new bearings, seals and fixings were installed together with some nice performance upgrades. A new VF43 turbo added the required boost, while a straight through stainless steel exhaust gave the boxer engine the noise it deserves.
